About Libyavoyager

 

We started Libyavoyager in 2008 with a passion to share Libya 's beauty with the rest of the world. Having worked in Libya for a number of years, it is the people that are the memories that remain the longest and nowhere is that more true than in Libya, where the giving of hospitality is both second nature and second to none.

Our aim is to share Libya 's beauty with others, not simply as tourists but by blending with the country. We believe in responsible travel by respecting local cultures, local communities and the environment.

We employ local guides to aid travelers' understanding of local culture and etiquette. We also believe in small groups as these allow travellers to experience cultures first hand, offering greater opportunity for cross- cultural understanding. Our trips provide employment to a number of Libyan people, while the money generated from our visits to sites like Sabratha and Leptis Magna help future preservation.
